Bella Pieroni is an English Artist whose
fascination with drawing the figure began at a very early age, inspired
by her father who was a gifted cartoonist and photographer.
Her life models are usually dancers,
circus and mime artists, athletes and musicians. Their flow of movement
greatly helps with the dynamism and energy generated in her drawings
and paintings.
She is continuously experimenting with materials and ways of seeing,
which means the constant evolution of her work.
She graduated after 5 years at Liverpool
and Southport Art Colleges and began to exhibit seriously in 1988.
Since then she has studied with several gifted tutors including
Jeremy Gale, Lily Corbet, Meriel Hoare, Robin Child and Antonia
Black.
