The
human figure is a wonderful inspiration for Mark and his drawings
of female nudes reveal his superb technique and talent for
representing the human body. It is not surprising that he
was the recipient of the Windsor & Newton Award for Drawing
two years running. Furthermore, Mark is rare among artists
in having his work selected for the Summer Show at the Royal
Academy every year for the past ten years.
However, it is not-only the naked form that inspires Mark,
and his exhibition also features several stunning new paintings,
including images inspired by his travels through India and
South America.
Having studied at Loughborough College of Art & Design
and then at the Royal Academy of Schools, Mark has remained
in London. |
