Adriana Zaefferer (1952), Argentinean.

Is a self taught artist who in spite of not having any academic training, is comfortable in using many mediums including oil, charcoal, pencil or clay.
In the beginning she concentrated on paintings of horses capturing in paper or linen cloth, the individual characteristics of the animal, recreating its bony structure and anatomy, the colour and luster of its coat and its graceful movement.

Her subject matters range from horse racing, polo to subject matters closer to home – Patagonian Goucho’s herding their horses.
Zaefferer exhibits regularly in Argentina, England and the United States, in the galleries Stream, Wildenstein London, Wildenstein New York, Zurbaran, Cricket Fine Art and Moorland Gallery and the Aid.
