Bridget Lansley

Bridget Lansley

BORN: 1950

Bridget Lansley has always loved to draw and paint. Her career in Publishing lead Bridget to increasing involvement in her painting, a journey inspired by, among others, Robin Child at his Lydgate Research Centre in Devon. Bridget’s paintings are simultaneously figurative and abstract – encompassing a fluid command of texture and hue. Her form and colour juxtapositions surprise and please with their bright spontaneity. The vibrancy off palette, energy of brush stroke and lively intricacy of line – all contribute to her passionate study of 20th century art. Bridget paints in London and at home in Hampshire, and has painted in Scotland, France, Spain and Portugal. She has had great success with her still life, landscape and figure paintings. Bridget has exhibited with Cricket Fine Art for the past six years and has been included in many of their mixed exhibitions and in Art Fairs in London and the Home Counties.

Bridget will be included in a three Man show in November 2011.
