Chloe Lamb

Chloe Lamb

BORN: 1960

Chloe has painted most of her life and since 1996 has exhibited regularly in the UK and more recently in America and Germany. The particular strength of her abstract art is her use if colour and form, whilst with the more figurative paintings it is the intimacy and movement that most strikes the viewer.
Although Chloe’s work is partly influenced by the modern British school of artists especially Ivon Hitchens and Keith Vaughan, it is in essence the landscape that surrounds her from which she derives her greatest subject matter.
She works without a preconceived idea of what the finished painting will be, but subconciously responds through the marks she makes in paint to a mood and feeling linked to her experiences of places and events.
