Frederico del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Garcia Lorca (1898-1936) was a Spanish poet, playwright and theatre director. Garcia Lorca was an outspoken socialist and was executed by Nationalist forces at the outset of the Spanish Civil War; his body has never been found.
