Georgia draws inspiration from textiles, interiors, antique furniture, decorative objects and flowers, however in her pictures it’s the animals who take centre stage, ‘I feel they give my paintings the character they need and if ever I do a painting without one, it seems a little bit sad and empty’. She enjoys the challenge of placing her animal subjects in unexpected places, and her canvases invariably convey her trademark sense of humour.
