Abstract artist, Sally Stokes works from her studio amongst the angophoras in Dural and her boatshed studio in a remote part of the Hawkesbury River. Sally studied art at Hornsby TAFE and EastSydney TAFE (The National Art School), and has both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters of Analytical Psychology. She has had 22 solo shows, numerous group shows, and has been a finalist in the Sir John Sulman Prize and the Salon des Refusés. Her work has been acquired by many private collectors in Australia and internationally.
Sally is also represented in various public collections in Australia: Artbank, Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, Newcastle Art Gallery, and Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre In 2021, Sally won the Muswellbrook Art Prize.
