Angela Wilson

Angela Wilson studied graphic design at Johannesburg College of Art. Initially working as a graphic designer, she soon started to paint and also spent some time working with interior decorators. She then moved to the UK and began to paint more seriously, exhibiting at galleries in Stratford on Avon, Leamington Spa and some London interior decorators (including Fox Linton). In 1992 Angela moved to Japan where she lived for four years and her work was sold through various outlets in Tokyo. She has exhibited at Brighton Art Fair, Battersea Art Fair, UK Youth exhibitions at RCA and Mall Galleries and in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.

Angela enjoys experimenting with spatial compositions and tone with an emphasis on colour. Acrylic is her preferred medium as she finds it provides flexibility and allows her to create a 'watercolour look' to her pictures.
