Our Top 5 Instagram Accounts for March

Find our who we follow and who to follow for March
March 13, 2018
Instagram is a fantastic social media network that we simply love. For those who do not use it, Instagram is one of the most popular social media networks worldwide, with an estimated 800 million active users. Creating an Instagram account is easy, simply download the app, choose your username and you are good to go. What makes this social media platform particularly fun is that it is an image and video sharing network where images and videos that you upload can be found on your profile. You can create a caption that explains your image or video and use hashtags (#) to make your post visible to the network. You can follow your friends or interests and these accounts that you follow will appear on your feed . We have chosen our top five accounts to follow for March that we think clients of our London and Hungerford art galleries will love.

The Richard Young Gallery

Not far from our Chelsea gallery, the Richard Young gallery, is one of the most popular contemporary photography galleries in London. Showcasing works by Richard himself, his works are as iconic as the subjects he captures. Stay up to date with their works and previews of their 5 yearly exhibitions that focus on contemporary photographic-based work, by emerging, to established British and International photographers, who push boundaries and think ‘outside the box’.

Affordable Art Fair

March has been a busy month for Cricket Fine Art and, at the time of writing, we have just got back from the Affordable Art Fair which took place from the 8th - 11th of March. The event attracts over 8,000 visitors a year and showcases the very best in contemporary art from across the UK and further afield. We love their Instagram account because it's a great way to discover new artists and new works as well as find out more about their events across the world.

Barr's Yard

Home to our Hungerford gallery Barr’s Yard is an artisan collective of independent retailers. The Instagram account is a great way to keep up to date with the varied businesses and events that take place at Barr’s Yard. A perfect slice into country life this account offers a fine way to escape the humdrum of London and to discover something new.

Cracking Art

Cracking Art is a vision of colour and joy that challenges how we look at the world and our relationship with sustainability and nature. Beautiful bright installations, scenic sculptures and more, punctuate this account. The choice of recyclable plastic for its aesthetic appeal shows the inevitability that our world is becoming increasingly artificial. The artworks are designed to inspire a community-wide conversation about the importance and the environmental impact of recycling, while leaving a potent artistic trace in the communities we live in.
